For my rhinoplasty patients, I state that light make-up can be applied under the eyes 2 days after the operation and that the upper nose area can be free for make-up if a new bandage is not needed after the mold is removed on the average 4-7th day. (If there are stitches between the nostrils, on the soles or on the wings, make-up should not be applied to these points for up to 3 weeks). At all times, the skin of the face and nose should be allowed to breathe without overdoing it with make-up.

In the nasal cavities, I use not tampons, but silastic (silicone-derived), crescent-shaped and breathing aids. For the patient, they provide significant comfort. Depending on the operation condition, they are removed without any discomfort (2-4th days on average).

Face profile is a subject that many people avoid (if we don't like) even when taking pictures. In the pre-rhinoplasty evaluation, I consider the outermost points of the "forehead" and "chin" along with the "nose". As an experienced surgeon I always aim to customize this angle according to the patient's unique facial features and aesthetic goals, ensuring a harmonious and pleasing result.
